Description of the problem	I went over a bump and hit the brakes at the same time and the next time i hit the brakes, the pedal went all the way to the floor before even beginning to slow the car down. I've had the pads, rotors and drums replaced and had the break lines bled on more than one occasion. At one time, just repeatedly pumping the brakes would bring them back up but now that no longer works. My mechanic has done as much as he can but says the next thing is replacing the abs but he doesn't feel that is going to make a difference as he's done research into the issue and it appears that even those owners with the same issue who did have more expensive repairs done were still left with braking issues. This car has been at my mechanic's shop for 3 weeks because i'm concerned about driving it. It has now become a major safety issue for myself as well as for other drivers on the road. I've checked the recalls and it doesn't appear that there is one for this particular issue; although i've read hundreds of similar complaints. I am now stuck with a car that cannot safely be driven.
