Description of the problem	After an abs-assisted braking maneuver on snow/slick road recently, the brake pedal had no pressure "went soft," and required extraordinary pressure to activate the brakes. I have to press down to the floor of the vehicle hard to activate the brakes. There is no resistance on the brake pedal. The vehicle has 116,000 miles currently. The same incident occurred in february 2015 when the vehicle had approximately 102,000 miles. Dealership performed abs bleed twice which provided some boost to braking system, but not complete braking recovery. Brake pedal still feels soft. Mechanic recommended new hydraulic control module for $800 (part only)! Very expensive repair that may be susceptible to year over year scrutiny due to irregular road conditions. In both instances, the vehicle was in motion and an attempt was made to brake on a slick, snowy, city road at no more than 15-20 mph. One instance was a left-hand turn and the other instance was traveling straight.
