Description of the problem	I was driving in a residential neighbor going around 25mph, i began to slow down to drive through slight dip and then attempted to brake harder to make a turn. At that point the brakes failed immediately and i was unable to turn, i have to circle the block and push the pedal into the floorboard to get any response from the brakes. My children were in the vehicle and it was terrifying and highly dangerous to not only myself and my passengers but to others on the road. Look around the internet and there are many people who have experienced this problem, both on mercury milan and on ford fusion. The problem seems to be a faulty anti lock hydraulic control unit. This problem has been known to nhtsa, ford motor company and others since at least 2012; mechanic has fixed several of this specific part and says he continues to see this piece of faulty equipment in ford products, specifically mercury and lincolns.
