| Description of the problem | Takata recall: my passenger side front seat airbag is very swollen. I have brought it to ford dealers for the past 3 or so years but they tell me it is not a recalled vehicle. I saw in a recent newspaper article that 2006-2009 mercury milan airbags now have a recall. I have not received a letter from ford as of yet. My airbag is extremely swollen and can't be pushed back down or glued in, it would have to be entirely replaced at this point according to repair shops that i have visited. It is definitely a defective piece of equipment in this car and looks to be dangerous. This car has never been in a front end collision that i am aware of. |
