| Description of the problem | My daughter had two episodes where when the abs brakes were activated she then would experienced a soft pedal for brakes. The first episode was on a dirt road and the second episode was on ice. My husband met her at the second episode site and sure enough the brake pedal went to the floor. My husband turned the car off and when the car restarted the brakes worked fine. We took the car to the romeo ford to be serviced but they could reproduce the problem. We were forced for obvious reasons to replace both parts of the abs brakes. My husband spent hours investigating this issue and found other owners with similar stories.
