Description of the problem	Tl* the contact's sister owns a 2007 mercury milan. The contact's sister received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v904000 (service brakes, hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact's sister stated that on two separate occasions, the vehicle failed to stop in a timely manner while depressing the brake pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact's sister took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who refused to repair the vehicle since the vehicle was under recall.
