Description of the problem	Takata recall. Safety recall notice 17s01/nhtsa recall 17v-024. Received two letters from ford motor company: march 2017 & may 2018 mentioning air bag danger for front passenger side. Letter stated parts should become available during the second or third quarters of 2018. I have not been notified of part availability. Meanwhile auto is being driven. Ford is offering to pay for rental vehicle until parts are available to repair this vehicle. I have not taken advantage of this offer as yet. I have not received notification of parts availability. In fourth quarter of 2018. Have received notice of a class action settlement coming from a bankruptcy of takata. Such notice recommends repairing airbag as soon as possible. When i call the local dealership, they instruct me to wait for letter stating part availability for my vehicle. I am confused and fear parts will not become available as promised.
