| Description of the problem | Takata inflators- i have contacted advantage ford on several occasions since receiving a recall notice in july 2016. Each time i have been told that replacement parts are not available. Last week i was told that i could call ford headquarters or mercury headquarters but they didn't it would help. This car is now more than 10 years old and is situated in florida with hot weather year round. I am scared each time i drive it that i or my passenger will be injured by this unsafe airbag situation. It seems that someone should be able to apply pressure on takata to provide replacement parts or at the very least have the car manufacturers produce the replacement parts and go after takata for expenses. |
