Description of the problem	I have a 2007 mercury mariner hybrid with 118,000 miles. Yesterday, the exclamation mark warning light came on 12 times in 8 miles. I turned around and it came on an additional 10 times on the way home. There is first a loss of power, the light comes on. I swerve onto the shoulder before i can turn off the engine there is a jolt. I have taken my car to the dealership before and they said to "pull over and shut off the engine for a minute and then restart engine". I have lost faith in the safety of this car. *tt
