Description of the problem	Takata recall. Called dealer year ago feb 2016 and was told they would be in touch to schedule repair. Called today to follow up 10/27/2017 , dealer reps redirect my call to the il dept of insurance. When i call the dealer back. 1. Dealer is not responsible, call mercedes. 2. Called mercedes, read faqs 3. Read faqs called dealer. 4. We don't have parts. 5. We don't know anything about parts. 6. We will call you just as soon as we have the parts but we don't know anything about the parts. 7. Call takata. Called takata. Nada. 8 called dealer, don't call us, we will call you. When? We have no idea. There is a bankruptcy. But the notice says there is no connection. Call mercedes. Nothing is being done, although the notice from takata, specifically states that inspite of the restructuring the dealer is responsible to schedule repairs. Meanwhile the dealer has turned into a bankruptcy specialist and is hiding behind and deliberately propagating misconceptions that since this restructuring is happening they have no further obligation. I. E. We don't know, we can't schedule, it will probably be alright, call a 800 number someplace else. Here is an 800 number 800 222 0100 at mercedes and when you call that number it is the same story. The problem is systemic, corporate, deliberate, collusive and done with the intent to avoid addressing the problem.
