| Description of the problem | Please note: this is not a specific complaint about my vehicle. It is calling to light an issue common to most or all vehicles on the road. Because there are now so many options for lighting, e. G. Headlamps, daytime running lights, etc. It is my impression that many drivers now have no idea if their tail lights are on or off at any given time. I think there is a serous national issue, especially around dawn and dusk, w/ respect to seeing the back ends of other vehicles. Nhtsa should consider requiring auto manufacturers to include dashboard indicators showing the driver exactly the status of both front and rear lights illumination (or not) at all times. |
