Description of the problem	While driving down the highway, a dashboard indicator displayed "car too low". We pulled over and the rear end of the car was sitting as low as possible. It was clear that there was a problem with the air bag supported suspension. On restarting, the car rose and we were able to make it to our destination. The car then, with increasing frequency had this problem. I brought it in for service and the air compressor that inflates the rear suspension air bags was replaced. This problem occurred with no warning and at highway speeds with 5 persons in the car creating an immense safety risk. Many others have reported the same issue with this and related cars for this and nearby model years. Like them, i wonder why there is no recall. Mercedes benz will not replace these defective parts willingly and there are many of these cars driving down our highways.
