Description of the problem	Takata recall: we received a letter about the airbag recall over 15 months ago and the dealers in the area do not have airbags to replace mine. However i still see new cars hitting the roads with new airbags in them. It appears the mercedes company can find airbags for new buyers but not for those they have already got on the road. I do not feel safe riding in the passenger seat of my only car because of this defeat. Is there anything that can be done to get this situation fixed. I feel we have waited long enough to get this repair done. I was told that when they get the part and i bring it in for replacement they will pay for half of any other repairs i may be needing as some gesture of my having to wait so long, but they still have no idea when there will be any repair parts available. I know they don't really care if someone dies in an accident, they have the money to cover any law suit. The risk is one they are willing to take, however i don't think i want to be one of the people that dies. Please let me know if you can be of any help.
