Description of the problem	On july 30th, 2014 i fueled my 2008 mercedes e63 amg in the same manner as i have for the past 3 years of ownership. When i parked my vehicle in the garage and closed the door i noticed a faint odor of gasoline. I thought it was just the exhaust fume built up in the enclosed environment. The next day when i checked, there was an overwhelming odor of gasoline. Fumes were so strong i could clearly smell it from my floor apartment. Luckily my neighbor were away on vacation. The smell outside the entry way into the growers was so strong it stung my eyes. Knowing the volatility gas vapors i immediately opened the growers door. When i looked under the rear wheel arch of the driver side i saw a puddle odd gasoline and intermittent drops of gasoline coming down from the fuel tank area. The gasoline did not stop leaking until i drive it to about 3/4 full. It took 2 weeks for the smell of gasoline to dissipate from the interior. I am aware of the class action lawsuit against mercedes for this very same problem.
