Description of the problem	I noticed a gas smell in my car. I didn't know where it originated from. I arranged for my local mercedes dealership service to fix the problem. I had the car in the shop twice. First time they thought they fixed it and upon returning home i noticed the smell didn't go away. It turned out they only fixed part of the problem and i returned the car to the shop where they discovered the complete problem with gas leaking under the rear seats and it was puddling on top of the fuel tank. My total cost to repair issue was approx $1,200 since the car was out of warranty. Oh, i was the first owner and the car was always maintained by the dealership. Shortly after the repair was completed i was notified the dealership was being sold and was offer a large discount to trade this car in for a new mercedes s550. I believe i can obtain a copy of the bills as it is a little over a year since the repairs have been completed. I do not know if they delete all previous repairs work orders if i sold the car.... Hum?
