Description of the problem	Each time i fill up my e55 with gas there is an extremely strong odor of gasoline fumes. It seems to go away at about 3/4 tank or less. The car is parked in the garage at night and when i go out there, the entire garage smells of gasoline. I feel the only thing to do is to not fill the car past the 3/4 tank level. I will bring it to mercedes but from what i've heard it's a default on the cars fuel tank costing hundreds of dollars to repair. I also believe it's only a matter of time until something terrible happens out there caused by gasoline fumes and perhaps some type of igniter resulting in serious injury or death. Why has mercedes not stepped up and issue some type of recall ? At this point i just want my car fixed and i am not alone. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
