| Description of the problem | Filled car up with gas and gas started pouring our of rear underneath vehicle and also under seat in rear of car. Very strong smell of gasoline everywhere. Car was a gas bomb! Very dangerous! I have 4 children and this could have been a very bad situation. This needs to be addressed by nhtsa. I have since had to replace 2 fuel pumps (passenger side of vehicle) due to same problem, and now i am replacing the driver's side fuel pump as i type this. This is a very dangerous and expensive problem with whom mercedes benz should be responsible. This is a wide spread problem. Do a search on google.
