| Description of the problem | Bad fuel smell coming into the cab of the vehicle. They have already replaced fuel pump last year and it was smelling so i thought there was something related to that. I went to the mechanic and after they took apart the back seat, they showed me the work they did and the current problem which was a leak in the gas tank from the top bolt that is molded to the plastic tank. He then showed me a stack of tanks about 5 or 6 fuel tanks high, that he said were the tanks that they changed out last week, saying this is a common problem. The rough estimate was $2000. 00. |
