Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2007 mercedes benz e350. The contact stated the fuel tank failed. When the fuel tank was full the fuel fumes penetrated the vehicle and the trunk area. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where a diagnostic test was performed which located the failure within the fuel tank vent hose which was made with a defective plastic liner, and caused the fuel to leak.
