| Description of the problem | Strong odor of gasoline fuel inside and outside of my vehicle, particularly after refilling the fuel tank. The odor subsided after driving my car for some distance thereby lowering the fuel level in the tank. I tell my daughter to fill the tank to about 3/4 full to avoid the odor. The odor is very strong when we park the vehicle in our garage and thanks be to god that we don't smoke. We park the car outside the garage when my daughter come home. Someone told me that there was a recall on fuel filter/sender, cracks in the pressurized outlet fitting of the fuel filter/sender. Will you please let me know about this situation as soon as you can. |
