| Description of the problem | Noticed a strong gasoline odor emanating from the rear of the car. On further investigation, i discovered that there was fuel pooling underneath the drivers side back seat and that two electrical wires were submerged in the fuel collecting underneath the seat. The fuel originated from a crack near the top of the fuel sending unit. This is a potential fire hazard not to mention the significant health issues to all passengers including the nine year old that is transported in this vehicle. This is a known issue and should be thoroughly investigated. |
