Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2009 mercedes-benz c300. The contact found nhtsa campaign numbers: 16v081000 (air bags) and 16v363000 (air bags) online over a year ago. The parts to do the repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repairs. The dealer (calstar motors, 700 s brand blvd, glendale, ca 91204 (818) 246-1800) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact received a postcard from tk holdings, alerting her that they filed for bankruptcy. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available. tt consumer stated airbag needs to be replaced due to faulty airbag. Steering lock had to be replaced on dec. 2016, this is a known problem on mbc300. This is a huge safety issue. Balbo need to be replaced too. Updated 8/9/18jb
