| Description of the problem | Takata recall: i was informed about the takata recall in july 2016, one year ago. A copy of the recall notice is attached. Lincoln claims they do not have the parts to repair the passenger frontal air bag. They do not know when they will get the parts. Since the airbag inflator my rupture in a crash, i have a risk of a serious accident. A lincoln customer support agent told me that my vehicle has a low risk of the inflator rupturing since the risk depends on the age of the vehicle. My zephyr is almost 12 years old. Shouldn't lincoln be repairing 2006 zephyrs? What is the risk of a dangerous rupture? |
