Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owns a 2007 lincoln town car signature. On three to four different occasions, the vehicle made a strange noise, bucked forward, and then accelerated when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact had to apply the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. The dealer stated that when the coils misfire, the vehicle feels as if it will accelerate. However, the contact stated that the vehicle did accelerate and the dealer replaced the coils. The following day, the failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. They could not find any failures with the vehicle. On another occasion, the failure occurred twice in the same day. The contact called the dealer and they stated that they inspected the vehicle and found no failures. She was informed by a representative to bring the vehicle back to them while the failure was occurring. The contact stated that two other 2007 lincoln continentals she owned have experienced the same failures. The manufacturer has not been notified. The current mileage was 23,978 and failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
