Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2007 lincoln town car. The contact stated that the vehicle accelerated while he was depressing the brake pedal. He was forced to depress the pedal as hard as possible to stop the vehicle. The stopping distance equaled the length of two vehicles. One week later, while pulling into a parking space, the vehicle surged forward again. The contact had to depress the brake pedal as hard as possible to stop the vehicle. The dealer stated that the contact must have had his foot on the accelerator pedal. The contact will take the vehicle to the dealer next week.
