Description of the problem	Tl* - the contacted called regarding the 2007 lincoln continental. The driver was attempting to stop the vehicle when it accelerated forward , striking the vehicle in front of them. There was damage to the front bumper of the vehicle. There were no injuries. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed and being repaired at a local repair shop not a ford dealer. The contact called the dealer, and was told that once the vehicle was repaired hey will have an investigators look at the vehicle. The contact stated the failure mileage was approximately 1500.
