| Description of the problem | Component: vehicle speed control details: tl*the contact owns a 2007 lincoln town car. The contact stated that the gas pedal and brakes were too close together. The contact observed that they were too close when the vehicle was purchased; i notify the dealer, reedman-toll, langhorne, pa approximately 6 months after purchase and was told that there was no recall on this condition. My husband, julius hyman, the primary driver, has experienced this unattended acceleration approximately 6 times and fortunately he was able to remove the foot from the accelerator allowing the brake to function before an accident occurred.
