Description of the problem	I purchased the 2007 towncar on 6/24/08, with 14,500 miles. The problem occurs when my shoe is half on the brake and the pedal will go down to where the gas pedal is. This has happened 6 or 7 time already, the harder you press the brake the faster you go. Why does the brake pedal go down this far? My wife gets all shook up when this happens. I put the car in neutral and the car stops on a dime with the motor racing this looks like a design problem, why would you raise the brake and gas pedal at the same time, it would be better if you could raise or lower them one at a time. I have been driving for 50 years or more and never had this problem before. The last time this occurred was 8/28/08.
