Description of the problem	Tlthe contact drove a 2007 lincoln town car, which was a company vehicle. While the vehicle was parked, the contact placed the vehicle into drive. The vehicle traveled four feet and then accelerated. He attempted to steer and apply the brakes, but the vehicle only accelerated more. The vehicle finally stopped after striking two poles and another vehicle. The other vehicle then struck three additional vehicles. The contact's vehicle spun around and was facing the rear of the vehicle that he struck. The instrument panel lights illuminated and a crushing sound was heard. The air bags never deployed until the vehicle stopped. The contact's vehicle and two other vehicles were destroyed. A police report was filed. The contact sustained injuries to his neck, right shoulder, lower back, both wrists, left hand, right pelvis, both knees, and right ankle. He also suffered from dizzy spells, was on medication, lost 40 lbs., and is seeing a psychiatrist. The passenger in the rear seat sustained a bump to her head.
