| Description of the problem | Purchased this car used (one owner) - have had the car since 9/2017 with no problems. Last week (5/04/18) car would not respond to start button. Thought it might have been a fluke so disregarded this issue as it did finally start after 5-6 tries. Last night (5/12/18) while traveling on a back road (approximately 35 mph) the car shut off totally. Loss of steering/brakes. My wife was able to get the car on the shoulder. Indicator lights were the amber wrench (powertrain) and a another red square (not sure what symbol). It took approximately 20 minutes before care would restart. Taking to dealership on 5/14 and hoping they do not tell me they are unaware of any issues. There are plenty of other owners here that are experiencing this issue. This could be life threatening if we were on the highway! |
