Description of the problem	Takata recall - i received a recall notice letter from lincoln motor company dated july, 2016. The letter stated my vehicle was identified in the takata air bag recall and that when parts are available i will be notified by letter. It has been over 7 months and still no letter notifying of parts availability or for me to schedule a repair. How much longer before the parts are available?? It is stressful waiting for this repair, especially when i have loved ones riding with me that can be injured or worse due to faulty air-bags. A 7 month wait is a bit ridiculous. Also, i've inquired with my local lincoln dealer and have been informed the repair will take 4 hours. Lincoln or takata should provide me with a rental while my vehicle is being repaired. I should not have to wait at the dealer 4 hours while the vehicle is repaired due to no fault of my own. Thanks for reading. I look forward to your response/update on this recall.
