Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2008 lincoln mkz. The contact received recall notification nhtsa recall number: 19v904000 (service brakes, hydraulic) however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that upon contacting the local dealer to schedule a recall repair appointment he was informed that the remedy parts would not be available until late first quarter of 2021. The contact also attempted to contact the manufacturer however, upon entering the manufacturer recall number: 19s54 he was unable to connect to a representative. The contact stated that while his wife was driving she depressed the brake pedal which failed to engage properly and travelled to the floor, causing the vehicle to crash into a building. The contact stated that no air bags deployed. A police report was filed. No medical attention was required. The vehicle was towed to an auto body facility for repairs. The contact also state that he has driven the vehicle and when the brake pedal was depressed it fails to stop the vehicle immediately. The contact stated that the brake failure has occurred on many occasions as the vehicle was not safe to drive and has been parked at his residence.
