Description of the problem	Shift car into "park" and the car is clearly in park but on the dash the "p" does not illuminate which causes an error message of "transmission not in park" when you turn the car off. If you turn the car off while the error message is showing, all auxiliary components (heat, radio, etc) stay on and your battery goes dead. Occurs nearly every day, each time the vehicle is put into "park".
