| Component | VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL |
| Product type code | VEHICLE |
| Description of the problem | This has been a continuous issue when using the cruise control at any speed. When the cruise control is on, and the vehicle is traveling on a downhill slope, there is a noise coming from under the hood while it is trying to maintain the speed. The sound is something like a humming/grinding/ticking noise. I have had multiple technicians go for a drive with me to try diagnose the issue and they have all said that there is an issue. However, to date, they have not been able to fix it and the last technician said it must be a normal noise, even though no other lincoln i have test drove can recreate the noise. |
