| Description of the problem | The abs hydraulic unit module has gone out in my vehicle. The module controls the abs breaking system. As of today 10/18/17, the abs breaks are not working on my vehicle. I took the vehicle to the dealership and they said it would $1,000 to replace the module. Lincoln will not stand behind the safety of their customers or their vehicles and fix this safety problem. Recalls on this same module have been done on the ford edge, which is the same vehicle. However, lincoln says that recall was vin specific and does not apply to the mkx. This is a major safety issue that needs to be addressed by the nhtsa. |
