Description of the problem	Door ajar warning - i have had to replace both my driver's door latch and the left rear door latch in the past 4 months. When the left rear door ajar warning light came on interior lights would stay on or the security alarm would go off at random times of the day or night. I replaced the door latch problem solved. Then the door ajar warning for the drivers door started coming on earlier the month at random times. When driver side door ajar warning light comes on, the door locks do not work. I can try to lock them and they will lock and then 2 seconds later they unlock. This is a big safety issue as well as a security issue. I knew the fix was to replace the door latch which i did. The problem for now has gone away. I cannot afford to keep replacing door latches on this vehicle. I called lincoln / ford and complained to them about it and they said that it is nothing they could do about it.
