Description of the problem	The brake booster was replaced on my 2011 lincoln mkx due to a recall due to brake failure. It was replaced approximately 1,000 miles ago and now it has failed again and nearly caused a serious accident.. This incident was on the 23rd of august 2019. This manufacturer used faulty brake boosters from the beginning. This car only has 53,578 current miles. This automobile is a danger not only to the owner but also to the general public if not corrected by the ford lincoln motor company.. History: lincoln mkx and ford edge vehicles are experiencing more serious problems than necessary.. I have been waiting patiently for another reply from the local dealership concerning this unsafe & major problem with my 2011 lincoln mkx. My wife & i were on our way home on the highway approaching a red light. When i pushed the brake pedal to stop the brake pedal went all the way to the floor and nearly caused a serious accident. I made it home and parked the vehicle under the carport and it has not been driven since. I have . Started it and rechecked it and the pedal still goes all the way to the floor... This car has been a lemon automobile as far as the brakes and brake booster are concerned. I feel that ford lincoln motor company should be responsible for this problem and should have the brake problem fixed on a permanent basis and not on a temporary basis!!! Unsatisfied customer/owner of my 2011 lincoln mkx. If this problem is not corrected by the ford lincoln company i will have no other alternative except to contact an attorney.
