| Description of the problem | Doors (driver side back door, passenger side back door) show door ajar warnings even when the doors are properly shut. This fault continues to run my battery down, and eventually forced me to purchase a new battery. I read similar complaints, and as a dedicated ford brand purchaser i am very upset this issue was not recalled and corrected. The fault activates upon starting my vehicle or while driving. The lights continually staying on causes the battery to drain and eventually die!!! This is not a fault caused by owner error, and i strongly believe ford should recall and replace the faulty door latch assemblies! |
