| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 lincoln mkx. While driving approximately 50 mph, there was a delayed response when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The entire instrument panel illuminated and other gauges became inoperative for a brief moment. The failure occurred intermittently and became progressively worse. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who stated that the throttle body assembly would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
