Description of the problem	Takata recall: took my 2010 lincoln mkx to hooks lincoln in fort worth, and asked them when i might expect to get my passenger side airbag replaced. The service manager told me to go back home and wait for a letter telling me when to bring my car in for the airbag replacement. It's been 16 months and i have not heard anything from anybody. I have friends that had the same recall on their lexus vehicles and the airbags were replaced in less than 6 months form their notice. They were put in rent cars for that wait time at no charge to them. Hooks manager laughed at me when i asked for a rental car to await deliver of new airbag. Piss poor handling of so-called serious safety recalls.
