Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2008 lincoln mkx. The contact stated she was locked in the vehicle for thirty-five minutes and discovered that the lift gate could not be opened from inside the vehicle. In addition, there was not a release to open the lift gate. The contact was able to exit the vehicle by using a bottle of cleaner to reach through the backseat and depressing the rear seat release to fold over the rear seat. The dealer was contacted and advised that they would have to demonstrate how to exit the vehicle when inside. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The failure and current mileages were 19,000.
