Description of the problem	I smelled the strong smell of gas while the vehicle was parked. Took it to a ford dealership and they found a leak in the fuel tank at the top of the tank. I was told the fuel tank would cost 1500. 00 and then 500. 00 for labor for a total of over 2000. 00. I feel like this should not have happened to a vehicle 7 years old. I have had many vehicles over the years and have never had a fuel tank leak this bad before. This is a serious safety issue.
