Description of the problem | Vehicle was on i-78 on a clear day with a temperatue of 75 degrees at a speed of less than 70 mph, no bridges, no rough pavement. All of a sudden the fixed panoramic roof (forward panel) shattered caused a loud bang. Sounded like a tire blew out! No evidence of a rock or other material striking the panel, no body damage, just the roof panel. Luckily we had the sun shade panel closed so we didn't experience any glass shards falling on us. |
