Description of the problem	This lincoln mkt has given continual problems with fuel issues, engine problems, check engine light constantly coming on and taking it back and forth to the dealer and they cant even figure out the issue as to why the check engine light keeps coming on. The vehicle has fumes coming from the pipes, it jerks and threatens to cut off and with all the repairs done and complaints sent to the lincoln corp, there is still no resolve. This is our family car, but we never know when it is going to shut off or start smoking or when the check engine light will come on. This makes the vehicle unsafe to drive and it seems to be unrepairable. Especially since each time we get it back from the dealership, the light comes back on. These problems occur with the vehicle in motion. I don't know when it is going to function properly or not and most times, i have my children with me. It is really scary.
