| Description of the problem | Cover securing engine start/stop button popped off and start/stop button was pulled into the dash.. Can reach button only by fishing around in dash through access opening. Secured button somewhat with bungee cord but button still inch or more in dash. Obviously installed under excessive tension. Notified lincoln but advised it was not an assembly issue. Dealer estimate to repair - $645. Vehicle has not not been in an accident and start/stop button has had only normal wear. Vehicle mileage 68,000. Believe this is major safety issue which lincoln should repair. |
