Description of the problem	On several occasions i have come very close to getting into serious accidents with my 2015 lincoln mkc. The vehicle has a major blind spot from from the frame cowel that leads down from the roof covering the outer edge of the windshield. Inside the vehicle it is extremely difficult to see oncoming traffic if you're looking left. If a motor cycle, motor scooter or bicyclist is approaching from your right side, you may not see him or her. I was stopped at a stop sign, intending to make a left hand turn. For some reason i took an extra second to stop. I did not see the motor scooter and he would have t-boned my car if i had just pulled out assuming there was no traffic coming.
