Description of the problem | Problems with car stalling after stop (i. E. Not responding easily to gas pedal) and jerking into gear since purchase. Problem reported to dealer one year post-purchase with no resolution. Car continued to get worse - going from periodic to constant problems with stalling and jerking into gear (from a stop and also from reverse into drive.) at 39,000 miles now we are told a new transmission is needed. Despite reporting the problem while the car was under warranty (it is now two weeks out of warranty) neither dealer nor lincoln are responding to the issue. |
