| Description of the problem | My 2004 lincoln ls goes into "etc engine failsafe mode" which doesn't allow the car to accelerate anymore and causes the car to slowly slow down. This happens all the time on my car. Probably once every three miles i drive on average but it happens most when the car is accelerating. I have almost been in numerous accidents because of this problem. I have replaced ignition coils and the throttle body and nothing seems to help. I am scared this car is going to get me killed the next time i merge onto the freeway. I now don't drive the car because it is just simply not safe for me or the other drivers on the road. |
