Description of the problem	Takata recall driving my daughter 2013 kia sportage the other day heard a terrible metal noise on the way home. No warning lights came on. It didn't over heat or anything . I was was less then 1/2 mile from the house so i drove it home. On the way the noise got louder and right in front of the house all power shut done and the car stopped. Thank god it was me and not my daughter. I got it to side of the road. Ive only had the cat about 14 months and it looks and drove like a new one. Of course its the engine and guess what its vin.# is not on the recall list. I bought a kia from a kia dealer for the reason of lasting a long time for a student driver. I called kia customer recall # and they basically said sorry we cant help you. My question is if you have a recall on 2011-13 and now 2014-2018 all engines why isn't mine included just because of a certain vin.# going with the odds i would bet my is bad also. Im out all this money plus the cost of college. I would hope kia would please reconsider their recall and do all 2013 's also. Please help!!!
