| Description of the problem | Engine has 94000 miles, and started making an awful knocking sound. Pulled into service station and was told engine full of metal shavings and the engine needs replaced. Kia customer service says this kia not covered by the recent engine recall, and my responsibility to cover it, even though it seems to be the same issue as those covered? Engine always maintained like it should be and no previous issues until this. All of a sudden without any warning the engine starts chewing itself apart. Luckily there was somewhere close to stop before it seized up on the highway. |
